Rural Development Centre (RDC) Nepal is a non-political and non-profitable organization established in June 2002 with its head office in Rautahat District of Nepal. Since then, RDC is heavily engaged in humanitarian assistance, community development, conservation of natural resources, and environmental protection mainly in the Terai region of Nepal through the dozens of humanitarian and long-term development projects reaching out to the children, adolescent, youth, women, landless, urban poor, and people living with disabilities, HIV & AIDS, conflict and disaster survivors from the poor families of historically marginalized Dalits, Muslims, Madheshi and Indigenous communities and other underprivileged groups.

In partnership with Islamic Relief Worldwide, RDC Nepalis starting an Equal and Just Society by Reducing GBV in Rautahat district project in Rajpur and Rajdevi Municipalities of Rautahat district. RDC Nepal is seeking qualified, dynamic, and motivated Nepali citizens on following positions for successful implementation of the project.
Position: Project Coordinator
Number of Vacancies: 1
Qualification:
Master’s Degree in social science, development studies, gender studies, public health or relevant discipline
Key Skills and Knowledge:
- At least 2 years of working experience in field of GBV and women empowerment (Master’s degree holders) or at least 4 years of working experience in same (for bachelor’s degree holders in relevant discipline)in similar position
• Experience in developing, conducting training, workshops, and community mobilization interventions
• Experience of working with district level stakeholders on Gender protection issues.
• Demonstrated ability of leadership
• Strong computer literacy and knowledge of database and spreadsheet
• Excellent interpersonal, networking, negotiation, and communication skill
• Fluency in Nepali and English communication and presentation skill (both written and verbal)
• Ability to work under pressure and meet short deadline
• Sensitive and responsive to Gender, Age diversity and Social Inclusion
• Good analytical skills and innovative

Position: Admin & Finance Officer
Number of Vacancies: 1
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Management
Key Skills and Knowledge:
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in development organization in Admin/Finance role
• Familiar with Nepali taxation rules and government compliance
• Practical knowledge of office management, including finance and admin tasks
• Competency in using Microsoft office package, email, and internet
• Fluency in English and Nepali (verbal and written)
• Sensitive and responsive to Gender, Age- Diversity and Social inclusion

Position: Community Mobilizers
Number of Vacancies: (3- Nos.)- local female resident preferred
Qualification:
Intermediate degree in social sciences or in any relevant discipline
Key Skills and Knowledge:
• At least 2 years of experience in community mobilization.
• Good understanding of gender and protection issues, women empowerment.
• Demonstrated coordination skills with local stakeholders
• Demonstrated skill in engaging community leaders, women groups, and children
• Fluent in local language (verbal at least)
• Fluency Nepali communication (both written and verbal).
