Job Specification

Education Level : Bachelor

Experience Required : More than or equals to 5 years

Other Specification
• Excellent coding skill in Java and/or Python in Linux environment
• 5+ years of relevant experience in building Web applications and Web Services in a professional environment
• Strong object-oriented programming skills using Java
• Must have worked on Java Spring Framework – Spring Boot, , Spring Core,, Spring MVC, etc., JPA, Swagger, Tomcat 8, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, GIT, Postman/Newman, RESTful Services, Containers
• Must be able to work with reactive/asynchronous and functional programming in java
• Knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms
• Familiar with design patterns
• Thorough understanding of relational databases such as MySQL or similar database technologies
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum software development cycle understanding
• Experience in test automation and test-driven development
• Experience with AWS/EC2, or other cloud services is a plus
• Excellent communication skills and being able to work independently or in a full team

Job Description

• Communicate with clients to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Lead a small/medium size team
• Define application architecture, database architecture and maintain applications
• Develop highly scalable web applications and web-services (API) adhering to latest software engineering practices
• Reporting to the Project Manager/Team Leader regarding the progress or any impediments in assigned project/tasks
• Continuously improve technical skills and share knowledge about new tools and technologies with the team ensuring the growth of the team
