Position:Business Development Officer
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Research and identify new business opportunities – including new markets, growth areas, clients, partnerships, products, and services – or new ways of reaching existing markets
- Develop project proposal, concept paper of our company and Seek out the appropriate contact in an organization
- Ensure monthly, quarterly and annual report of the company and update in the website and circulate to our clients
- Prepare the list of our prospective client meet with customers/clients face to face or over the phone
- Support to develop training calendar and arrange various training in Nepal
- Assist to coordinate with different types of client national and international level
- Liaise with government counterpart, vendor, suppliers and different unit of the company
- Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
- Ensure staff are on board throughout the organization and understand the need for change
- Train members of your team, arranging external training where appropriate
- Think strategically – seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
- Work strategically – carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes
- Seek ways of improving the way the business operates
- Attend seminars, conferences and events where appropriate
- Perform such other duties as may be assigned.
Minimum Requirement:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Management, science, environment, public health or engineer with 4 years experience, (or Masters degree with 2 years experience)
- Good communications skills, presentation skills, project management, project development skills
- Advance user of Ms. Excel, PowerPoint, Database, SPSS, Google docs, Forms, SharePoint
- Knowledge about Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Humanitarian organization and emergency situation experience preferred

- Excellent knowledge of English, both spoken and written
- Good analytical skills in developing and implementing resource mobilization strategies

- Good understanding of financial management and reporting processes
