Position: Regional Behavior Change Communication Officer:
Number of Vacancies: 1
Job Location: Nepalgunj
Job Role:
The Behavior Change Communication Officer will be responsible for the management and implementation of an integrated behavior change communication program to promote the adoption of healthy behaviors among PSI/Nepal’s target groups. Key activities include capacity building of LIPs staffs, regular field monitoring and supervision of behavioral communication activities planned under LIPs. This includes crucial roles such as planning, designing, providing technical support, evaluation and documentation of behavior change communication initiatives.
Experience and Qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health or social science or other relevant disciplines
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in implementation, training, and evaluation of behavior change communication interventions at district level (preferably at the community level)
• Good interpersonal communication and facilitation skills
• Ability to understand and use program data to inform program BCC initiatives
• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced and constantly changing environment
• Good spoken and written communication skills in both English and Nepali
